The Bowie Chamber of Commerce is seeking an energetic, motivated, and community-minded person to serve as our next Chamber Director. This individual will be responsible for advancing the Chamber’s mission of promoting local businesses, organizing events, and office/clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- To represent the Chamber in a professional manner and serve as the primary spokesperson.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Develop and manage Chamber programs, events, and initiatives to support members.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Chamber office.
- Work with the Chamber board of directors.
- Drive membership growth and retention through outreach and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Quickbooks knowledge
is a bonus). - Strong attention to detail.
Compensation:
- Part-Time Position with competitive salary based
on experience and performance.
